Why is the Paleo Diet Any Different?

The Paleo diet(also known as the Caveman diet) was created by Professor Loran Cordain.
Professor Cordain does not take all the credit, though, because the diet is simply a replication of the dietof our ancestors from the paleolithic age.
At that time there were no processed foods, no fried foods and no foods that contained excessive sugar.
The dietwas pure and rich is foods that were essential to survival.
The Paleo diet mimics this ancient diet and is more of a lifestyle than an actual diet.
You will be eating lean meats, seafood, fruit and vegetables for a beneficial and healthy diet that you can follow for the rest of your life.
The Basics of the Paleo Diet As mentioned, this diet focuses on foods that were readily available during the period before the agricultural revolution.
These foods are natural, healthy and safe to eat.
They do not contain fillers, harmful additives or unhealthy ingredients.
They are pure and all are recommended foods for a generally healthy diet.
Not only are these foods pure, but they are packed with nutrients.
They have the essential vitamins and minerals that your body needs to function properly.
They are low in those things that harm your body and that cause you to gain weight or have health problems.
You will see that with this diet you will not be eating dairy or grain products.
They were not a part of the paleolithic era diet.
Instead you will be replacing these foods with fruits and vegetables.
Benefits and Differences from Other Diets The biggest difference in this diet and other diets on the market is that the Paleo diet was not created by someone.
Yes Professor Cordain has brought it to our attention, but he did not come up with the ideas and the concept of the diet.
The diet itself comes straight from history.
It is a diet that was used by our ancestors and that helped them survive and thrive.
It is not something someone thought up or a diet whose only proof of working is testimonials or test group results.
The Paleo diet has been proven through history and is something anyone can research if they desire to see concrete proof that it works.
Since the Paleo diet is a natural diet full of pure and clean foods, it is a healthy diet.
So many of the foods we consume today are packed with things that are just not healthy.
Fats clog the arteries and cause cardiovascular disease.
Sugars are consumed in excess and end up stored on the body as fat.
The foods in our modern world have been pumped with things that are making us overweight and sick.
The foods on the Paleo diet are natural and healthy foods that you can grow in your garden or get fresh from a butcher or fisherman.
Overall, this diet gives your body what it needs without pumping it full of things it does not need.
The Paleo diet is nothing new and it is not some revolutionary idea.
It is simply taking a look at our past and learning from that.
If we start to eat the way our ancestors did then maybe we can survive and thrive just as they did.
Imagine what would happen if our ancestors ate the junk food we do know? Would we even exist? That is something to think about when deciding if the Paleo diet is the best diet for you.
