Online article writing and online article marketing is not a get rich quick scheme.
It is something you have to do consistently over time if you want to bring forth targeted traffic to your website.
Many people that write online articles are trying to position themselves as experts in their field, or industry.
If you are an expert in your field or industry this shouldn't be too difficult, and it will always show up in your writing.
In fact, there are now software programs that analyze articles of 500 words or more, they can give a pretty good percentage estimation of your level of competence in the industry, and tell if you are actually an expert or not.
One thing that I have noticed and this is merely an observation of online article writers and authors, is that if you only write about what you know about, and you don't know very much, your articles will look rather stupid.
Someone who is a consultant in management, but has only written 20 articles in the last three years, and still holds themselves out to be an expert, well, that seems rather questionable.
After all if they write 20 articles at between 400 to 500 words, that's not a lot of text for someone who has 10 years experience in the industry.
Surely, they know more than that? Of course, if someone writes a 80-100 articles in the same time period, but they lack any informational value, or any concrete evidence that the author knows what they're talking about, then they will also look rather silly.
The reality is that you need to be consistent over time and put forth quality articles that are of a reasonable word count.
I hope you will please consider this for advice as you continue your best efforts in online article marketing, as an online article author.
Think on it.
