The play will take you down doglegs, past sandtraps, onto elevated and rolling greens and through some very unique Adirondack beauty. The folks at Thendara Golf Club take great pride in their beautiful golf course: Its hallmarks are its plush grasses, meticulously maintained greens and fairways, and majestic pines. Elevated, rolling greens are a Ross signature, and this course is no exception. The recently installed state-of-the-art irrigation system helps ensure a memorable golfing experience.
The 18-hole Thendara is a typical Donald Ross layout, somewhat short, but ever challenging. It plays 6,426 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 70.5 and the slope is 122. Designed by Donald J. Ross, the Thendara golf course first opened for play in 1921.
