Wire and Bead Spider Earrings

In a related project, I showed how to make a spider using beads and craft wire. At the end of the article, I explained that you could also make this spider smaller and create a cool pair of spider earrings. I made a pair for myself, and they turned out so well I thought I ought to give you a few tips about making them.
The instructions are basically the same as that of the bead and wire spider. The only real difference is the size of beads and wire used.

So, here is what you would need to make the earrings:

2 - 6mm beads (for the heads)
2 - 8mm beads (for the bodies)
4 - 2 in. pieces of wire (for the legs)
2 - 1 in. pieces of wire (to connect heads to bodies)
32 bugle beads and 48 seed beads (to put on leg wires)
2 ear hooks

You will also need the same tools: wire cutter, round nosed pliers, flat nosed pliers. Use these scaled down parts and pieces, and follow the same instructions for the larger spider. Make sure you make a good size loop at the top of the spider’s head so you can connect the ear wires to him there. Have fun wearing your cool spider earrings.
