Warning Signs of Kidney Failure

    Change in Urination

    • Even when liquid consumption has remained the same, a person may begin to notice a lack of urine. Sometimes, there will even be no urine produced.

    Loss of Appetite

    • A airly common sign of kidney failure is a change in appetite, usually feeling as if you have no real desire to eat. This may be accompanied by nausea or vomiting, though these symptoms aren't necessarily linked.

    Pain

    • Typically, moderate pain will be isolated somewhere between your waist and ribs on one side of your body, more towards your back than your front.

    Swelling

    • People suffering from kidney failure have also been known to experience a swelling in one or more of their appendages. This particular warning sign ordinarily affects only the feet and/or legs. This swelling can be slight or pronounced.

    Change in Heart Rate

    • This will usually present itself as a faster heart rate than usual.

    Cognitive Issues

    • Cognitive issues can manifest as anxiousness or confusion. There may be an almost overwhelming sense of restlessness that could affect sleep.
