How to Remove the Task Scheduler From the Task Bar in '98

    • 1). Shut down all programs and applications that are currently running on your computer. This is always a good idea when you are altering settings on your system.

    • 2). Find the Task Scheduler icon in the task bar. It is within the system tray right next to the clock in the lower right corner of the screen.

    • 3). Right-click on it.

    • 4). Click on "Delete." The icon should disappear. This will not remove the program nor will it stop scheduled tasks.
