Will I Have To Commit To A Year On Medifast?

I sometimes hear from people who wonder how much of a commitment is required on Medifast.
A common comment is something like: "I need to lose about 50 pounds.
I don't think that it will take me a whole year to lose the weight.
Will I be made to sign an annual or yearly contract with Medifast? And if so, can I break it once I've lost the weight?" You don't need to sign any contract.
You don't need to make any commitment.
Essentially, you continue to order food from the company as long as you still need to lose some weight or want to be on the diet.
When you are happy with the results, you decide how you want to taper off of the diet (which is called maintenance or transition.
) At that point, many people will just use or order less food until they are totally transitioned off of the plan.
Then, they'll just placing orders.
Sometimes people get confused and are under the impression that there's a commitment required for this diet.
The only thing that I can think of that contributes to this confusion is the VIP or advantage plan.
What this means is that you agree to allow the company to automatically ship you your next foods when you run out.
For example, if you were to order a 4 week monthly package and were on advantage plan, then the company would automatically ship your next package the next month.
In exchange, the company will often give you free food, free shipping, and a percentage off of subsequent orders.
And this deal can be canceled at any time, so it's not really a commitment.
You're just taking advantage of bulk pricing.
The company offers a lot of different plans or ways to buy food depending on how much weight you need to lose, but it's up to your as to when you order your next round of food unless you're on the VIP plan.
(You can generally figure out how long you're going to need to be on the diet by figuring a range of 2 to 5 pounds per week for the first couple of weeks with the average being about 3.
After that initial period, the weight loss tapers off to around 1 - 2 pounds per week.
) In this case, even on the lower end of the range, she was probably looking at less than a year's time to reach her goal.
And the person writing could decide how she wanted to order her food.
They also allow for you to order the foods by the box, but this often works out to be more expensive because coupons aren't usually offered on individual meals.
