How Do We Use Filters on Reports Already Created in Google Analytics?

    • 1). Log in to Google Analytics. On the "Dashboard" screen, click on "View Report" next to the website for which you wish to view an existing report.

    • 2). Click on "Custom Reporting" within the vertical menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

    • 3). Select the "Manage Custom Reports" option. The next screen shows all of the custom reports associated with the account. Access the desired report by clicking on its title.

    • 4). Scroll to the bottom of the screen until you see the Filter menu.

    • 5). Select "containing" or "excluding" from the Filter menu to specify how you wish to filter the data.

    • 6). Type the desired dimension -- for example, a keyword or landing page name -- into the blank field and click "Go" to see the filtered results.
