- A lump or thickening may develop in the breast which feels different from the surrounding tissue.
- A bloody discharge from the nipple may be experienced.
- Changes in the shape and size of the breast may occur, as well as changes in the skin over the breast, such as a dimpling effect.
- The nipple may become inverted, and flaking or peeling of the skin of the nipple may occur.
- Pitting or redness over the skin of the breast, similar to the skin of an orange, may be observed.
