How to Move a Window That Is Off the Screen

    • 1). Move your mouse to the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Hover the pointer over the icon that corresponds to the program window that is off the screen.

    • 2). Hold down the "Shift" key and right-click the icon.

    • 3). Click "Move." If "Move" is not selectable, click "Restore," hold "Shift" and right-click the icon again, then click "Move."

    • 4). Press one of the arrow keys. The window is now "attached" to the mouse pointer. Move the window back onto the screen using the mouse, then click to release it.
