Foot Odor - Getting Rid Of It With Home Remedies

Do you have to go to the backyard to put off your shoes because of the odor? Well, it probably is one of the most embarrassing encounters that you have had.
Fortunately, there are several foot odor remedies that can rid you of all this shame.
It is possible to minimize the odor and better still completely do away with it.
It has always been said that prevention is better than cure and as cliche as it may sound, it is important that you thoroughly clean your feet.
Many are the times when people give the cleaning of their feet a raw deal and if this is the case with you, then you are to blame for the odor.
Care to use some antibacterial soap since it will reduce the effect of the odor causing bacteria.
The spaces in between your toes are very sensitive so do not neglect it.
After cleaning your feet, it is of vital importance to dry them using a clean towel.
If you are a victim of sweaty feet, this applies more to you and it will surely make a big difference.
If the problem persists, some powder sprinkled on the feet and especially the space between your toes will help keeping the feet drier for longer.
As fabricated as it may sound, the antiperspirant or deodorant that you use under your armpits can also help.
However, care should be taken or else you will end up causing harm to your feet.
Look at the labels and make sure the deodorant does not contain ingredients harmful to the skin.
Better still, you can shop for the deodorants that are specially made for the feet.
Speaking of the socks and shoes that you put on, they can either make matters worse or better.
If possible, put on an open pair of shoes and avoid putting on the same pair for two consecutive days.
For your socks, choose the most comfortable fabric.
