Tiger Woods has indicated he would play in the Olympics if golf became part of the program in 2016.

The International Olympic Committee executive board is going to meet on Thursday in Berlin to recommend two sports for inclusion in the 2016 Olympics, with golf and rugby sevens the favorites.

Woods said on Tuesday he thought golf should have been included a while ago. And then, he was asked whether he would compete.

"If I'm not retired by then, hum," Woods said. But once again, he was asked the same question, if he would play or compete, Woods nodded his head to indicate his willingness.

It was his most definitive comments on his participation in the Olympics. If golf gets selected for the Olympics, Woods will be 40 for the 2016 Games
