I believe you are making yourself sicker by limiting your candida diet menu so much and you may be malnourished.
I went to a wonderful doctor yesterday and he says that corn and potatoes are ok.
Also, he says adding nuts slowly is ok, too.
He even says that 4 oz of orange juice every other day is ok! I know that many people have allergic or insulin problems with processing corn, potatoes, and our current fruit.
You can get many recipes to be applied in your diet by finding recipes for paleolithic diet, which is very similar to the candida diet.
Perhaps we can find a lot of new tastes to try there.
I am a complete advocate of listening to your body and deciding what right for you.
But, sometimes you get so caught up in the disease you don't know where to turn.
I urge everyone to go and have an antigliadin IgA and IgG antibody test to see if you might also be sensitive to gluten.
I came up borderline sensitive to gluten in my test and found relief of a lot of my symptoms from sweets and yeasts after cutting of gluten for a month.
I am not as sensitive to yeast and sweets as I used to be, so I urge all of you to test your selves to see if you too might be gluten sensitive.
Ask your doctor about the test.
If you feel really tired after eating bread or wheat, there is a large probability you are sensitive to gluten, and the people who keep consuming gluten even after being sensitive to it may develop a more severe sensitivity called celiac disease, so keep watch out.
Also, don't cut gluten from your diet before being tested for gluten sensitivity, because this will give false results in your blood test.
