- Servers set up with Microsoft Exchange automatically sync all data from your Outlook client to the server and, if you choose to, an external source. With this, an entire network can be updated and synced simultaneously, but these servers are very expensive and impractical for the average person or business.
- If you have a device that is compatible with Microsoft Outlook, you can sync your Exchange contacts to a mobile phone or PDA. Contacts can be synced to the device, which can then sync the contacts to a separate computer by hooking up the synced phone to it.
- There are dozens of third-party programs that can sync your Exchange contacts between two computers. Many of the programs are free and are easy to use; however, some of the paid programs cost much more but can sync contacts automatically. Either way, the downloaded program will have to be installed on both machines and have access to the internet, or at least be on the same network.
