Insomnia and TV First of all insomnia is different in everyone so working out works best for one person a lot of the time it can be totally different for another and so on so answering this question has to be partly generalized.
With that being TV really is an amazing tool, telling us stories, giving us information, you name it TV has so many options these days.
To many of us TV is not only something we watch, it also helps many fall asleep as well.
And I will tell you why? The main reason it helps many to sleep is it distracts the mind, it lets our think on other things rather than focusing on daily stresses that maybe causing you Insomnia to begin with.
Keeps Some People Awake That is good news right, however there is one minor flaw, the flaw is that during the night after falling asleep from the TV we wake to it as well.
This in turn could affect your sleep after that keeping you awake.
On the other certain types of people become overly focused by the TV and the mind focuses too much attention to it to the point where it can actually reduce the chance of sleep.
These types of people are almost opposite to the TV sleepers and so are better avoiding TV late at night.
Whatever type of person you are it generally all depends on how the mind assesses a situation to how it deals with how it reacts, does it get sleepy or does it focus too much.
Others may find reading puts them to sleep, whereas to some reading can keep them awake.
It really depends on the person and how the mind reacts to that situation.
Or in another way how they react to external stimulus.
Bad Habits Can Cause Insomnia Humans after all are creatures of habits so once you form a bad sleeping pattern to change it can take time, you may also find things in the past that kept you awake in the future could do the opposite.
These things change as you change your lifestyle as well.
It all depends on like I said how the mind and body react to certain external stimulus.
So in conclusion, does TV help reduce Insomnia and Sleeping problems? The answer is yes it can depending on the person however no it won't on certain others.
