How do you know if you're ready to get married?

Tamsen says: It becomes quite clear that he is the one when you find that the more time you spend with him, the more interesting he becomes.

He also doesn't seem to get on your nerves during long durations of time when you are attached at the hip.

Matt says: You know that she is the one when you actually want to be with her during times when sex is not an option. You also realize she is the one when you have a fun experience and wish that she could have been there to share it with you.

Should you move in together first? In New York City, is this more of a real estate question than a romance question?

Tamsen says: It should only be a romance question.

Matt says I believe that it is imperative to live with someone before you marry them. However, it should only be done when there has been an understanding reached regarding the fact that moving in together will be shortly followed by an engagement that in turn will be even more shortly followed by a marriage proposal.

Should I wait until the economy improves to plan my wedding?

Tamsen says: Not necessarily. We are finding that many people are going for a more organic, down-home, family-style wedding.

The days of 200+ guests are over. Brides are going for a more simple feel by bringing it back to basics.

Matt says: Thank goodness. Now why didn't I get to benefit from this simple wedding trend? I guess I missed it by a year or two (just kidding, honey).
