    Visa Applications

    • Everyone applying for a visa must agree to a digital photo and 10-digit fingerprint scan at the time of application. This information is made available at all ports of entry in the United States and to the Department of Homeland Security.

    Data Integrity

    • The U.S. government makes biometric information available to law enforcement agencies in the event that it is needed for law enforcement applications but only after statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
