During the day cold water is pumped through these panels, and then the hot water they produce is stored in well insulated tanks. Many hot water systems also have conventional heating connected to them so that extra hot water can be produced when required.

A lot of governments and local authorities are producing grants or tax incentives to encourage people to install renewable energy systems. Many locals solar installation companies can advise property owners about these incentives. These installers can also give great advice about which types of systems to install, and can provide a complete service by using qualified technicians.
