Don't you just hate the sound of flies buzzing around your house? I sure do. I am sometimes amazed how and where these little critters are able to enter my house. The sound that is infamously associated with them is very distracting and hearing it for extended periods of time can make a person really agitated. This is especially true if they keep flying around your face and distracting you while you are watching TV or working on your computer. So what is there to do if there is a fly in your house? If you are quick enough you can try to hit it with a fly swatter or trap it in a cup if you are clever enough. But if you want a more reliable and feasible way to catch flies and get rid of them, get a disposable fly trap.
But before you go this route and buy a disposable fly trap you might want to see if you can nip this problem in the bud before it even starts. Think of it as a precautionary measure; a pre-emptive strike, if you will. Since flies usually breed and generally thrive in unclean conditions like garbage cans, you should do your best to keep every area of the house as clean as possible. Be sure to properly cleanup and dispose of any garbage around. When organizing your trash keep them properly stored away in containers and cover them. If you have pets, clean up after them and throw away any food lying around you have no intention of eating. Sanitation is key to stopping a problem that has not even begun.
If you have a window or a door to a patio make sure there are screen doors installed. The small gridded squares will keep flies out. And not only flies, they will keep out moths and equally annoying mosquitoes. Be sure to carefully inspect these screens often for holes and patch them up should you find them.
But if they have somehow found their way into your home, set up a disposable fly trap as soon as you are able. The best disposable fly traps are already baited and can be placed in any part of the house. Place them in spots where there is light or near a window. Another tactic is to set fly strips between entry points and sources of food.
With disposable fly traps and these hand tips, you will be rid of these flies in no time at all.
