Moultrie, Georgia, is located in south Georgia, 60 miles from the Florida state line. With less than 15,000 residents, Moultrie is a small, agricultural town that calls itself the city of "southern living." Despite its small size, Moultrie has a number of summer camps for children. These camps give children a chance to explore new areas and activities, while offering parents an opportunity for rest. Summer camps in Moultrie include day-camps and extended-stay camps where the children lodge at the camp. - Moss Farms Diving Tigers Summer Camp gives children who enjoy aquatic sports an opportunity to improve their swimming and diving abilities at a week-long overnight camp in June. The camp is held in a privately owned facility in a rural area and caters to both novice and advanced swimmers. Sessions begin on a Sunday and end on a Friday. During the week, a trained coaching staff will teach the children on a variety of diving boards and offer a video analysis of each diver to help improve technique. The camp provides all meals and lodging in six cabins for campers. Other activities available during the week include volleyball, fishing and softball. Children must be 11 years old to participate.
