- 1). Cut felt into strips ¾-inches wide. Cut three, 9-inch long strips, cut three, 8-inch long strips, cut two, 7-inch strips and a 3-inch strip. One felt sheet makes a bow.
- 2). Glue the ends of the smallest strip together so it forms a circle.
- 3). Apply a strip of glue to the center of a 9-inch strip. Bring one end of this strip to the center of the strip and glue it in place so it forms a loop. Bring the opposite end of the felt to the center of the strip to make the second loop. Your felt strip should look like a figure-eight. Make the rest of the strips into figure-eights.
- 4). Place one of the 9-inch figure eights in a slightly vertical position on the table. Glue the other two 9-inch figure-eights on top, so they are evenly spaced. This is your layered bow base.
- 5). Glue the next three, 8-inch figure-eights on top of the bow base, evenly spaced.
- 6). Glue the next two, 7-inch figure-eights to your layered bow base.
- 7). Glue the circle from Step 3 to the center of the layered bow base. Let glue dry. Use double sided tape to secure to gift.
