Sexuality and the Spirit

Sexuality is just that, obviously all things relating to and of sex, though it is not perhaps as simple as it seems, well depending on who is doing the writing and why.
Spirituality is all that is spiritual, again though seemingly obvious it is not simple, which may be why of course the question of a link comes up in regards to sexuality, with the answer being simply, no, as in no link.
Why not?Spirit is spiritual yet not sexual, as sex is not a matter of the spirit; it is a matter of the body and the mind.
Problem of course with this is the fact that the mind at times has not one iota of sense over the body when sex comes to the forefront of mind.
In other words with spirituality there is a need always to have balance and harmony over the body, mind, and spirit.
Love is the factor of where the balance and harmony come in, although discipline is a predominate need in the mix of love, and sex.
Sexuality is the body, and as human beings we are male or female, no asexuality, no androgyny, no bisexuality of body, and no other definitions of types of descriptions of deviant structures of the human body.
Mind is over the body, spirit is over the body and mind, though it can be lost to mind, yet not body.
In other words the mind can lose the spirit though the body can not, at least until the spirit leaves the body at death.
We always have our spirit, whether we know it or not, as when we lose the mind the spirit is still with us, always.
Dementia, Alzheimers and such are examples of losing our minds yet not our spirits.
Notions of bisexuality, homosexuality, transgendered, and any other definition of the human body are insane excuses for behavior purely for the satisfaction, however deviant, of bodily enjoyment in terms of sexual pleasure.
With the mind unable to discipline the behavior of the body the spirit is forgotten, which is where we have morality, or the lack there of come into play.
We could call it also a lack of values.
Spirituality has nothing to do with this behavior.
Human love does lead to procreation in some instances, which is totally normal, as the female and the male are built gender specific in order to maintain the balance and harmony of life in that the spirit is only moved with the uniting of the female and the male.
When the female and the male unite as one spirit in love, this can at times open the door to the spirits looking for a womb to enter.
Tibetan Buddhist teaching tells to choose the womb carefully.
A short explanation is as follows, our spirit in the form of ether after leaving the physical body sees the couple, female and male united in love (maybe) and chooses whether to enter the womb of the female, or go on searching for another womb.
Morality enters the picture as if love of a spiritual meaning is not present in the couple making love, then the womb is not one to be entered at that time, of course due to the fact that the woman may not want a spirit (actually new body) growing in her womb at that specific time in life.
Sex is not meant to be taken lightly or promiscuously for this reason, which again is why it is said to choose the womb carefully.
Personal responsibility is what has been with us forever, infinitely, although in this so called new day or whatever, it is forgotten for the most part it seems.
In other words there truly is no one to blame for any difficulty there is as choosing the womb is the main attribute to our life in one body.
Hence, choose the womb carefully.
This is not to say though that the act of love making is only for the procreation of a new body (spirits physical home in the unenlightened state, easy definition) so if the spirit is not truly wanted in the womb at that given time, then the choice can be made to tell the spirit(s) to stay out and go on with the search.
In terms of religion, spirituality is usually mistaken for some obscure dogma and or theology of scriptures which may or may not be true, as in have the scriptures been properly translated? Usually this has always led to the extreme fanaticism which is seen in many areas of religious activity throughout the world, especially in the middle east, which interestingly enough many of the scriptures are thought to have originated.
If Buddhist thought is put into the equation, it is very easy to see the links to scriptures from what we now call Christianity, which is why common sense has been lost.
Thought, truth is not possible in the absence of common sense, which of course leads to the insanity of some of the loss of truth of thought in the world and America as it is today, which of course does answer the question of why there is no link between sexuality and spirituality.
