Get busy seeing the sights! There are plenty of attractions to see in Paradise, Michigan. Lighthouses are a specialty in Paradise, with Crisp Point and Point Iroquois making great attractions to visit. The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum will delight lovers of anything nautical. The museum is located in the old Coast Guard buildings at Whitefish Point and contains artifacts and exhibits honoring the many mariners who traveled the Great Lakes. The famous poem "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" was inspired by these waters. The museum has a video about the wreck and even contains the actual ship's bell made famous by the poem. Each year, on November 10th, there is a memorial service for the crew of 29 that were killed when the 729-foot steamer sunk off Whitefish Bay. You won't want to miss Tahquamenon Falls.
