How to Replace Gold Hooks on a Gotcha Treble

    • 1). Hold the Gotcha lure with one hand so the treble hooks at the tail and on the belly are accessible. Hold a pair of pliers in your other hand.

    • 2). Cut the eyes of the treble hooks with the wire cutters. Remove the treble hook from the eye ring on the tail of the lure and the wire along the belly of the Gotcha lure.

    • 3). Place a split ring on the eye at the tail of the lure and on the belly wire. Spread the split ring with split ring pliers and thread the split ring in place.

    • 4). Choose a replacement treble hook in your desired color. Select the treble hook size based on the lure size.

    • 5). Spread the split rings once again and thread a treble hook onto the split ring at the tail and on the belly.
