      Wineries are the relaxing get away for a fabulous honeymoon. Whether you want to travel abroad, or stay right here in the United States, there are many options to create the best honeymoon ever. Most wineries have places to stay on-site, such as a bed and breakfast, while others have accommodations nearby.

    Napa Valley

    • Napa Valley is one of the most popular wine making locations in the United States. It is located 50 miles north of San Francisco. There are more than 400 wineries along the 30 mile trail. Napa Valley is also famous for its fine cuisine and luxurious inns. You may tour by hot air balloon where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Napa's abundant valleys.

    Willamette Valley, Oregon

    • Located in Willamette Valley is a 110-mile long stretch full of vineyards, plus there is Yamhill County located an hours drive southwest of Portland. There are small towns along the way where you can stop and enjoy a nice glass of wine and dine at some fabulous restaurants.

    Yakima Valley, Washington

    • Yakima Valley is Washington State's oldest wine-making region dating back to 1883. It has about 40 vineyards and is located about 150 miles east of Seattle. During your stay, you can enjoy white-water rafting on the Tieton River.

    Texas Hill Country, Texas

    • The Texas Hill Country, located about 80 miles west of Austin, is becoming more popular for its local vineyards. There are more than 20 wineries in the area. Spend your free time looking at antiques and checking out the local restaurants.

    Fingerlakes, New York

    • There are more than 100 wineries in the New York area. There are five wine trails plus one wine path formed and named after the lakes they border. They are Canandaigua, Cayuga, Keuka, Ontario, Seneca, Conesus and Hemlock. Just about all of the wineries in the area provide tours and tasting rooms, restaurants with views of the lake.
