- When the error occurs, the code will flash on the Clormatic's screen. Look for "E193," "193" or "F-193" on your screen. To ensure the error did not appear because of a glitch, unplug the Clormatic, plug it back in and see if the error reappears. If it does, the error is legitimate and needs attention.
- Fault Code 193 stands for an electrical glitch that has occurred on the front circuit board of the device. It is reading too much electrical output, even when the device is turned off. If untreated, this could cause more problems for the Clormatic, including an electrical burn-out or overheating of the device.
- Error code 193 could appear along with other errors associated with 193. These codes include error "EC," errors "170," "187," "191" and "197." These codes could appear along with the "193" or on their own. All of them have to do with front board errors. With multiple errors, a replacement part is almost always needed.
- The repairs on the Clormatic requires extensive electrical knowledge and voltage testing. If you do not have this knowledge, you should not attempt to open up or fix the Clormatic. Even if you still want to examine the device, unplug the Clormatic and keep it away from any power source.
