- 1). Contact the train service provider. Look on the back of your printed e-ticket or reservation confirmation email for contact information or go to the train service provider's website and find the "Contact Us" information.
- 2). Ask to speak with a customer service representative in order to change an existing reservation.
- 3). Explain to the representative that you wish to change your boarding point. If it is allowed and the distance is now longer, you will be required to pay for the additional travel. If the trip is now shorter, you may get a refund. Either way, a change fee may be imposed by the train company.
- 4). Ask for a confirmation sent to your email, including your new e-ticket with your new boarding point. Print the ticket or jot down your confirmation number to bring with you to the station.
