Moraira like most of the towns along the coast in this area is formerly a quaint fishing village with stunning views across to "El peñon de Ifach" (the rock of Calpe). It has grown to become a beautiful and sought after location for all year round living. It has lovely sandy beaches and rocky coves and is famous for its fish restaurants situated on the seafront between the fish market and the castle.

The impressive Marina area has an excellent variety of shops and the added attraction of many opportunities for water sports.
