Obama and Iran Considered

President Obama is suddenly getting serious and perhaps, maybe, possibly doing something about Iran and their nuclear weapons program.
But why now, what was the big change all of a sudden? Hmm, well, let's talk about this for a moment shall we? There was an interesting article recently in the global media of a speech given by President Barack H.
Obama in Kapolei, Hawaii.
The article appeared on MSNBC; "Obama vows new bid to thwart Iran nuclear effort - The president says he will consult with China and Russia," the article stated; "President Barack Obama says sanctions on Iran are having "enormous bite," but he still wants to work with Russia and China to find more ways of putting pressure on Tehran to halt its nuclear program.
Obama said his strong preference was to resolve the Iran issue diplomatically, but he added: "We are not taking any options off the table.
Iran with nuclear weapons would pose a threat not only to the region but also to the United States.
" Okay sounds great right? Unfortunately, we are now at crunch time, this is serious, not that it wasn't serious when he took office, it's just that it is even more so now.
Further, the left really made a stink about President Bush's Administration's tact when it came to Iran, so, that made Bush's Administration looking like the bad guy and unable to muster the support to press Iran, as should have been done.
Worse, Obama stated during his last election that he would meet with Ahmedinejad personally to talk about all this stuff, which was obviously not a wise choice, perhaps even naïve, and even his later Secretary of State Hilary Clinton chided him at the time for his inexperience and comments.
Of course, Obama obviously thought he was wise using the old Communist axiom; "keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
" Well, that's all history now, and the Obama Administration has completely failed with Iran, and now it looks as if we are headed off to war, when we could have prevented such.
I personally blame Barack Obama for this coming war, one which didn't need to happen, but now, I see it as the only remaining viable option left on the table.
Do you think my assessment is out of line, too tough? Look, sanctions have not worked period, diplomatic relations, nada, any so-called clandestine maneuvers, whatever they may or may not have been haven't worked either, but instead of leaning harder on Iran, they probably don't take anything we do seriously, thus, here we are with our final option; thanks a lot Obama.
So, why has Obama decided to put this into one of his speeches during a trade mission to Asia? Simple, the GOP brought up the issue, and it's now in the media, and this is a purely populist president, so, he has to speak on it.
This concept of voting present unless something is in the media and might hurt his approval ratings is all about politics, it's all too typical, and to me it shows complete leadership failure from within.
It's time to R and R (remove and replace) President Barack Obama.
Please consider all this.
