Georgia offers a wide range of motorcycle events with something going on almost every weekend in the spring. Events range from single-day charity runs to drag racing, dealership-run open days and multi-day events. You can expect seminars, food, companionship and, in most cases, camping. Your choice of Georgia motorcycle event will depend on whether you want to bring the kids or not; there are both child-friendly and child-free rallies. - The Georgia Mountain Rally is a BMW rally run by the BMW Owners' Group of Georgia. The rally takes place from April 30 to May 2, 2010. Since the rally is held at a campground, tent camping is included in the price of admission, with discounts for pre-registration. RVers can pay extra for hookups. Admission also includes dinner on both nights of the two-night and three-day rally as well as free coffee and popcorn. Among the events offered at this Georgia motorcycle vent are rides, music, seminars, a classic motorcycle show, door prizes and vendors.

Allmon Memorial Run is held on April 10, 2010 and benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit that helps wounded soldiers in the time between their military duty and their move back to civilian life. The ride starts at Southern Custom Motors in Port Wentworth with sign-up an hour ahead of the 11:30 a.m. departure time. This Georgia motorcycle event is a poker run with a meal included in the price of a hand of cards. Unusually, the run is not just for motorcycles, but allows for cars and trucks to join in also.

Tickets are available for the full time of the event or for individual days and two-day stints. Children under 12, and military and police in uniform get in free and advance tickets are $10 cheaper. The venue offers RV camping facilities, food and gifts, and equipment for racers like scales.

The Angel City rally is for adults only and brings together custom bike builders and other vendors between April 14 and April 18, 2010. There is live entertainment and events like a wet T-shirt contest, biker games and rides throughout the five days of this Georgia motorcycle event. RV campers are tent campers alike can stay here or groups can book a group campsite. Drinking is restricted to the bars themselves and no bottles are allowed.
