When you are the owner of a true classical chopper like the Yamaha Virago, a very nice occupation is touring with your motorcycle on the road.
There are different ways how to cruise on the road, some like to do it alone and others like to ride in groups.
The advantage of riding alone is that you can decide where to go and how to do it.
You do not have to take the opinion of others in to account.
You decide your destination, the speed and when it is time to stop for a cup of coffee with mustard pie.
Riding alone also has some disadvantages that should be taken in to account.
When you are alone you can only carry what fits on your bike.
probably the biggest disadvantage is when your motorcycle breaks down and there is not someone there to help you fix it.
Social company is also a good reason to choose not to ride alone.
When you go for cruising in groups you can do this with some of your friends, or members of a motorcycle club.
The route is decided up front and all have to go in the same pace.
You can talk to each other and make jokes when you are riding which makes it more relax.
When you ride in groups it is important to make some agreements about speed, destination and stops before you go.
You will face that some prefer to ride faster than others and you have to find a compromise.
When it comes to cruising on your motorcycle you have the decision to go alone or ride in groups.
It is a personal preference what suits you best as both have their advantages and disadvantages.
