Food and Appearance

Women all over the world spend lots of money on expensive face/body creams, lotions, scrubs and makeup.
They buy brand name shampoos, masks and balsams for hair, visit beauty salons and take high-priced cosmetic procedures to make their skin better and healthier and hair thicker and shiny.
All these measures are undoubtedly important and useful if you want to look perfect.
However, we forget about one thing - to look good is to look healthy, and it is possible only if you feel healthy.
There are various factors that help us feel healthy and the most important one is, certainly, food.
Food gives us energy and useful elements, which are so essential for all our systems to function well.
We can stuff our organism with fast food every day and expect our faces and bodies to look younger just because we pay cosmetologists and fitness instructors.
We completely forget that fatty fried meals, which smell and look so delicious, strongly irritate our stomach and gall-bladder that finally causes functional digestive disorder, and this is where overweight, acne, unhealthy complexion and dandruff come from.
If we regularly start our day with a piece of bran bread with butter and cheese, and a cup of green tea instead of muffins or biscuits washed down with strong coffee, and if we have salads as an addition to meat dishes instead of fries, and take some light porridge in the evening, positive results won't be slow to arrive.
If you include nuts and fermented milk products in your everyday menu and replace your chocolate snacks with them, your skin will get cleaner and your hair will look healthier.
We also forget how important water is.
This is a precious nature gift and we shouldn't underestimate its value for our health.
Drinking 0.
5 gal of pure water per day will help prevent skin and hair dryness and avoid inspissation of the bile, thus improving your complexion.
Taking care of our beauty is often much easier and cheaper than it seems.
Sometimes we should just change our attitude to this process and work in a different field as well.
There are some other factors which affect our health and appearance like sleep, bad habits, working conditions and etc.
, but still food is one of the most important.
We should first learn to control what we have in our fridges and lunch boxes, and why we have it, and whether we really need it!
