The Basics: Check your tire inflation Look on the sidewall of the tire and make sure that your inflation does not exceed the maximum inflation of the tire.

Check for bulges in the sidewall.
It's a good idea when not traveling to have your tires covered to keep the elements off of the, and to rotate the tires several times a year.
Pack Bearings and Check your Brakes At least once a year it is a good idea to pack your bearings and check your brakes.

Torque your lug nuts Before each trip it is advised that you re-torque your lug nuts.
