- Cambridge offers organ scholarships for most of its colleges. Each college allows no more than two scholars to be in residence at a time. Each scholarship varies according to the college offering it, but each one offers a small financial reward, plus a subsidy toward organ lessons and a piano in the scholar's room. These students are required to organize the music for college chapel services, as well as other musical opportunities around campus.
- This scholarship was designed to reward a promising organ or keyboard playing student with a scholarship to aid in the development of church organists. The deadline for this award is June 9 each year and the recipient receives up to $1,000 annually. The number of available scholarships varies each year.
- This scholarship is given to an undergraduate student who will be pursuing a career in organ performance or church music. The student must attend an American conservatory, college or university. This scholarship awards $2,000 to one recipient per year. The application is in February and the scholarship is good for one year.
- The College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, Massachusetts, offers an undergraduate full-scholarship program, which is renewable on an annual basis for students beginning in 2011. The recipient must major in music, study the organ privately for four years and desire a career in church music or organ performance. This scholarship recommends some experience in church music, strong keyboard skills and good sight reading ability. The recipient will have full access to an organ in the Saint Joseph Memorial Chapel. The awardee will be responsible to assist the college organist with all areas involved in producing the college organ program.
