- 1). Open the Anti-Virus Scan Engine administrator control panel on your primary server by double clicking the Symantec AntiVirus icon on your computer's desktop.
- 2). Choose the "Licensing" menu option located on the left menu. Then select the "Install" menu button and choose the option to access the "Licensing and Registration" webpage.
- 3). Select the Symantec product that you have purchase and then enter the serial number from the Symantec licensing certificate that you received via the mail followed by the "Submit" menu button.
- 4). Input the email address for the primary license manager at your organization, followed by the "Submit" menu button. You will then be asked to confirm the information is correct and to click "Submit" to continue. The license file will then be emailed to the address that you entered.
- 5). Save the license file you receive via email to the computer you are going to access the administrator control panel.
- 6). Open the administrator control panel and choose the "Licensing" menu option. Then, select "Install > Browse" from the menu options and select the license file. Choose "Confirm Changes >Continue" after the license has loaded into Symantec.
- 7). Exit the administrator control panel and the license will be installed.
