€ If your floor looks very dirty, rinse and scrub the floor instead of mopping it. Scrubbing your floor is more effective in removing stubborn dirt.
€ Do not drag furniture or other objects across a floor made from wood. Put "gliding" furniture pads underneath the furniture to help in sliding it across the floor.
€ Use mats at every entrance so you do not bring in dirt from the outside.
€ Ensure your floor can dry fast and undisturbed after cleaning. After mopping you should put a sign to warn people that the floor is wet. This will make people avoid walking all over your mopped floor and prevent any slips and falls from happening.
€ Apply first coat of seal by pouring floor finish into a bucket and immersing a clean mop. Wring your mop and apply a thin coat to the floor.
€ Before applying the second coat allow your floor to completely dry first.
