- 1). Check that the power cord is plugged in to a live circuit with the proper voltage if there is no power to the oven. Check the home electrical panel for any blown fuses or tripped breakers. Reset breakers as necessary and replace fuses with others of the same amps.
- 2). Move the lock lever all the way to the right if the self-cleaning cycle will not operate. Check that the oven selector and oven temperature control are set to "Clean." Ensure that the stop time is set ahead to the time you want the self-cleaning to stop.
- 3). Check that the oven selector is turned to a setting ("Bake" or "Broil," but not "Time Bake") if the lower oven will not operate.
- 4). Push the right side of the oven light switch if the light is not on when the lower oven door is closed. Press the left side of the oven light button if you require the oven light to be out.
- 5). Replace the oven light if it does not come on at all. Turn off the oven at the main power supply. Remove the bulb cover at the back of the oven. Push the wire holder to the side and remove the bulb from the socket. Replace the bulb with another 40-watt appliance rated bulb. Replace the bulb cover and snap the wire holder into place. Turn the power back on to the unit.
