- 1). Click on the Outlook Express icon on your computer's Desktop to open the program or click on the program name on the "All Programs" menu.
- 2). Click "Tools" then "Accounts." The "Internet Accounts" dialog box will appear.
- 3). Click on the "Mail" tab. Click on the email account under the "Account" heading. If multiple email accounts are listed, click on the account you want to configure for WiFi access.
- 4). Click "Properties."
- 5). Click on the "Connection" tab.
- 6). Click on the check box by "Always connect to this account using:" to deselect this option. You will see the box below this heading turn gray.
- 7). Click "Apply" then "OK."
- 8). Click "Close." Click on the "X" located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to close Outlook Express.
- 9). Click on the Outlook Express icon on your computer's Desktop to re-open the program or click on the program name on the "All Programs" menu.
You have now configured Outlook Express to work with any WiFi connection. - 1). Click on the Outlook Express icon on your computer's Desktop to open the program or click on the program name on the "All Programs" menu.
- 2). Click "Tools" then "Accounts." The "Internet Accounts" dialog box will appear.
- 3). Click on the "Mail" tab. Click "Add" then "Mail."
- 4). Enter the name you would like receivers to see when you send a new mail message in the box next to the heading "Display name:."
- 5). Click "Next."
- 6). Enter the email address the WiFi service issued to you. This email address will be with the paperwork for the WiFi service.
- 7). Click "Next."
- 8). Select the "server type"--"POP3, IMAP or HTTP." Check the WiFi service's paperwork.
- 9). Enter the "Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server:" information provided by your WiFi service.

Enter the "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:" information provided by your WiFi service. - 11
Click "Next." - 12
Enter the email address from step 6 in the box next to the wording "Account name:." - 13
Enter the password for the email address in the box next to the wording "Password:." - 14
Click the check box by "Remember Password" so you don't have to enter the password each time. - 15
Click "Next" then "Finish." - 16
Double-click on your new WiFi email account. Click on the "Servers" tab. If your WiFi service requires authentication, click on the check box by the wording "My Server Requires Authentication" under the heading "Outgoing Mail Server."
If your WiFi service does not require authentication, skip to step 18. - 17
Click "Apply" then "OK." - 18
Click "Close." You have now set up a new WiFi email account for a WiFi service.
