What to Do With Wooden Sheds

Wooden sheds.
Granted, they don't really seem exciting.
However, they are actually a lot more versatile than you might think.
If you've got a shed in the garden and it's not doing much, why not try using it for one of the following options? The rehearsal room.
Most families have a musician in their midst somewhere.
Granted, some families are more unlucky in this respect than others (grandad's Napalm Death tribute act springs to mind).
However, whether they're a teenager screaming along to such metal classics such as 'I pushed your wife in front of the subway', or a more sensible and less concerning parent learning the violin (much nicer, we're sure you agree), a wooden shed can make a superb rehearsal space, leaving your home to it's own brand of peace and quiet.
Unless you're the parent of the aforementioned angry teenager, obviously.
The store room.
Parkinson's law states that 'stuff expands to fill the space available.
' Well, it sort of states that.
Either way, it is very, very easy to buy more things than you have room for, especially if you have a family (kids are top notch at acquiring more things, even though they don't have jobs).
The wooden shed is the saviour.
Offering lots of room (especially if you get a big one) and usually fairly simple construction, they're the perfect place to dump all those useless things you don't need.
We accept no responsibility for people who pictured their in-laws whilst reading that last statement.
The shed.
Alright, this one might seem a wee bit obvious, but hey.
Remember, a shed can be a very effective shed.
Surprising, no? If you're green fingered (as in a gardening enthusiast, rather than a Martian), then you've likely got a huge pile of implements.
Whether they're for digging ('I'll have a trowel, please, Carol'), planting seeds (no sniggering at the back) or for simply mowing the lawn (we recommend a lawn mower), all of your gardening devices can be taken care of with a wooden shed.
Why use anything else? The DIY workshop.
DIY is without doubt an acquired taste, that's for sure.
To some people, the prospect of a few hours spent building a set of shelves is one of the most pleasing things that they can get involved in.
To others, it's akin to having your fingernails pulled out with pliers or a philosophical conversation with the Only Way is Essex cast.
If you're in the former camp, though, wooden sheds can be a great way to have all your equipment and benches in one place.
Not to mention the fact that it means all the drilling and hammering can be done far away from the long suffering family! Obviously, wooden sheds can be used for a lot more purposes than just the above, but it's likely that they are the most common.
Needless to say, you're essentially limited only to your imagination, and you'll be able to tailor the sheds to anything you really need.
