I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in December 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

The park was as clean as a whistle, from the spotless bath houses and laundry room to the picnic tables on the cemented patio and site pad. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had free Wi-Fi and free cable TV with over 70 channels to choose from.

The location is right off I-35 with easy access in and out of the park. Our site was $45.00 a night, but well worth it. We were parked right on the river. The kids fed the ducks and fished right out of our door.

Pros: Very clean facilities and very friendly out going staff, who escorted us to our site and assisted with hook up. The staff is very knowledgeable about the area. There is easy access to and from the Interstate. They have a fast wireless connection and plenty of cable channels to choose from.

Cons: The campground is located right off interstate, so there is some Interstate traffic noise.

Nearby attractions: Schlitterbahns Waterpark, historic Gruene district, Natural Bridge caverns, wildlife safari, river fishing and rafting.

Further comments: We will be back this summer with friends.
