Qi Revolution - A Great Way to Learn Qigong and a Great Source of CEUs For Bodyworkers

Qigong, an ancient Eastern practice, is a moving meditation.
Tai Chi is the most well-known form of Qigong.
Certainly these days most everyone knows someone who has done Tai Chi or has seen someone doing Tai Chi in a public park or on the beach.
All forms of Qigong are excellent for stress reduction, prevention of illness, and for dealing with chronic illness.
It increases balance, strength, stamina and breath awareness.
It can conveniently be done anywhere and anytime.
Mind-body practices such as this really are necessary to sustain and improve the health of your immune system, nervous system, internal organs, and to deal with stress.
These days stress and stress related illnesses the leading cause of all visits to the doctor.
An organization in Florida (to which I have no affiliation besides having been fortunate enough to spend time with them) called Qi Revolution is a wonderful force in the advancement of understanding of energy medicine and the ancient Eastern traditions of Qigong.
Run by Qigong Master Jeff Primack, this not-for-profit organization holds large 4-day Qi Revolution events around the country.
The events are educational, fun, spiritual and enlightening and yet are VERY affordable.
Qi Revolution is accredited by several regulatory and governing bodies with respect to health professionals and body workers so they are able to offer Continuing Education Units necessary for licensing in many states.
The events cover an interesting range of topics and experiences over the 4 days including nutrition, energy science, spirituality, meditation, food healing and music.
Jeff goes into great depth in a presentation on nutrition and his thoughts and views on the subject and even makes smoothies for everyone to sample.
The intention of Qi Revolution is to teach and practice all three Qi Gong levels and have a good understanding of energy and how it affects our health and lives.
Advanced techniques such as Qigong walking are also taught.
Qigong walking is a practice I find extremely useful for increasing and maintaining my own energy and health and something I do nearly every day.
There is also instruction and practice of meditation and pranayama (various forms of yogic breathing) techniques.
The event is long, you get far more than your moneys worth.
It can be a little intense and tiring but when you leave, you go back into the world with such a heightened energy and awareness and the abilities to retain them, that it can change your life in a most wonderful way.
