Your way to Blogging 1 on 1 Blogging is the modern art form equivalent to the writings of William Shakespeare, although most of us don't write epic performances.
This is because people who are into blogging are the ones who are artistic in their own right, carefully picking out words that would best describe their own complete overall emotional state.
Blogs were first introduced as a "weblog" or an online log of events recorded on a computer and saved on websites.
Web Logging or Blogging is now one of the biggest online sources of mass pulp writing and will soon, if not already, outstrip the written word on paper.
With the traditional web logging, you still need a web site and a domain name, but with a blog, you do not need anything just an account with a blog provider.
In most cases, blogs are free of charge.
Generally, blogs were created for personal use, like a diary, people can write their daily tasks, and other stuff they have to do and have done on a daily basis, and in some cases several times a day.
With the advent of online marketing, blogs have taken the limelight in providing marketers with a chance to boost their presence online.
This is where marketing blogs have taken pole positions.
Marketing Blogs have been written specifically to give readers the impression they are getting something valuable for their effort in reading them, the content is usually targeted toward a particular theme, which, lo and behold, the writer just happens to have that product or system for sale through his or her site in the link he liberally scatters through the pages of the Blog.
At the same time as selling a product, this same blog will also be promoting the Company name and the company brand, so this is a multi-edged sword to wield and is very effective in the right hands.
Simply by creating an RSS feed or link back to your own website, this blog now becomes an additional part of the internet that the spiders (bots) will crawl when ranking your site.
More RSS feeds, higher ranking.
So what do you need to do to make Your Blog interesting online.
Here's how: 1.
Think about your Readers, Listeners and watchers If your blog is personal, it would still be better to consider what your readers would think if they ever read the contents.
You have to think of videos, music, pictures and written items that would be of interest to someone else, not just you.
Most people write a blog, whether for their own gratification or for other reasons, because deep down they want to be heard, they want to be known, they want their 15 seconds of glory at the front of the stage.
So, it is vitally important that your Blog contains things that your audience would understand, not necessarily that these people want to relate to it but that they can understand it.
2.
A picture speaks a thousand words.
Any blogger worth his or her salt today fills their blog with photographs, some say just any photo, but if you make them relevant then the Blog will be more relevant to the reader and people will return for updates and more pictures..
3.
Make you Blog beneficial to the reader This is your blog, you can write anything you like, but if you give some advice or help on it for others, then there is a benefit in it for them to read your Blog.
4.
Don't make your Blogs complicated.
If you are talking about something simple, keep it simple in terms of pictures and language, if you are talking nuclear physics, pretend the audience is full of newbies, students and school children; even professors will get the gist then! Keep your Blogs short and to the point, no long sentences, if they can't read it in 2 minutes, their off! 5.
Animate your Blog as much as possible Provided you have spent enough or are allowed enough space on a server for video, do it, place some video and sound footage on there, it means the visitor has to click to get something, they will click or they'll get bored.
Place "sign up" boxes on your pages, every page, so that you can supply feedback to people, you'll be amazed how many friends you may collect along the way.
If you really are here just to get to number one as a 'Blogger' in your own right, then Blog away, keep the content fresh and current, such as who's just won the latest race, Olympics, football, film stars, politics (eugh!), but up to date! Blogging is now the modern Shakespeare's dream stage.
