The Historic Old Church is a wonderful performance venue in Portland's West End. Inexpensive music shows abound, ranging from classical to folk, world music to rock. More recently, the Old Church has added events such as a recurring Vinyasa yoga class offered to the community for just $8 -- and $5 for the first two classes.
Most music shows are very affordable -- with many of them priced at $10 or less -- and the venue is small and intimate, affording a great view and acoustics.
The church, which is now a nondenominational nonproft historic site, was built in 1882.
