How to Find Out If Your Jeep Is on a Recall List

    • 1). Enter the address of the NHTSA search engine in to your Web browser using the link in Resources.

    • 2). Select "Vehicle" and then click on "Search Selected Type" in box 1, which is labeled "Type."

    • 3). Use the drop-down menu to select the model year of your Jeep and then click "Submit Model Year" in box 2, labeled "Model Year."

    • 4). Select "Jeep" from the drop-down menu and then click "Submit Make" in box 3, labeled "Make."

    • 5). Select your Jeep model and click "Submit Model" in the next box.

    • 6). Select a specific component in box 5, labeled "Component," if you would like to see only that recall information. If you would like to see all recall information for your Jeep, leave the drop-down menu on "Select component - optional." Check the box under the drop-down menu to see a full recall summary and click "Retrieve recalls."
