Indians across the nation and the globe are eagerly looking forward to the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) Championship Season 4 that is scheduled to happen from January 25 - February 23, 2014. Cricket reviews reported that Sachin Tendulkar, the legendary cricketer whose recent retirement sent across a wave of saddness throughout the world launched the Season 4 of CCL Championship. The 4th season of Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) was launched on December 20, 2013 at Grand Hyatt. Along with the Master-blaster, over 200 celebrities from various film and TV industries, CCL team members and the ambassadors graced the event.
During the launch celebrity interviews took place and Suniel Shetty, Bollywood actor and the captain of Bollywood team 'Mumbai Heroes' said, "Cricket is a sport which you enjoy. We are not professionals but we play as a team. There are various actors playing in our team."
The launch witnessed the presence of several celebrities from the film and TV industries across India at the inaugural event of the tournament's latest edition. Bollywood couple Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza were also present at the event along with other celebs.
Cricket reviews reported the celebrity interviews of Tamil and Hindi actor, Dhanush, who said, "I really don't know which team I'm supporting but I just want to watch good cricket. CCL is a great platform for all of us to come together and develop a friendship. It is nice to be here, I'm very thrilled."
Celebrity Cricket League Championship is an unique yet very interesting mix of cinema and cricket where celebs from various film and TV industries of India compete against each other in friendly cricket matches to own the final trophy. Like CCL Season 3, eight teams are participating in the tournament that spans over a period of one month from January 25 to February 23, 2014. As per the reports of the cricket reviews, the teams participating in CCL Season 4 are Karnataka Bulldozers, Mumbai Heroes, Chennai Rhinos, Telugu Warriors, Kerala Strikers, Bengal Tigers, Veer Marathi and Bhojpuri Dabbangs. The matches will be held at various stadiums in different cities and country from Mumbai to Bangalore to Chennai to Cuttack to Kochi to Hyderabad to Ranchi tto Dubai.
