The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports issues passports for Pakistani citizens who wish to travel abroad. In addition to presenting the necessary documentation, you will need to give impressions of your left thumb, right index finger and left index finger. Pakistani passports are usually available within 12 days of completing the application. - You will need either your original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or your Computerized Registration Certificate, "Form B," with two photocopies.
- A Pakistani passport costs Rs.2100 or Rs.4000 for urgent processing. If you opt to pay more for urgent processing, your passport will be available within five days.
- If you have an old Pakistani passport, officials will require you to surrender it along with a photocopy. If you hold dual citizenship, you may present your foreign passport with a photocopy.
