How to Organize Apps for iPhone and iPod Touch in iTunes

    • 1

Upgrade iTunes to Version 9 or above, if you haven't already. Go to the Apple menu at the top left and select "Software Update" to see if there's an iTunes update.

    • 2). Sync your iPhone or iPod Touch with iTunes. Let the backup and sync complete before you move on to the next step.

    • 3

Click on your iPhone or iPod touch in the iTunes Library menu on the left side of the iTunes window. It's under the "Devices" option.

    • 4

      Select the "Applications" tab.

    • 5

Make sure the "Sync Applications" check box is selected.

    • 6

Add or remove apps by selecting or deselecting the check boxes next to the apps. If you're looking for a specific application, you can sort by name, category or date added and you can search for the name of the application using the search box next to "Sync Applications."

    • 7

Click on and drag the icons of the applications around on the pages to change their order.

    • 8

Click and drag the pages around in any order you choose.

    • 9

Hit "Apply" to save your settings.

    • 10

Sync your iPhone or iPod Touch again. Your apps and pages will now reflect what you did in iTunes.
