I don't know if you have ever been at the end of your rope when it comes to weight but that is where I was.
I was fed up and ticked off with my weight.
I had gained weight during a stressful period of several months and I had used food to deal with my anxiety.
So here I was - feeling fat and miserable and wearing the last pair of my stretchy pants that still fit and I was not about to go buy larger clothes! I had dieted on and off for years.

But the bummer is that these diets were not the way I wanted to eat for the rest of my life and so after the weight loss I would go off the diet and gain the weight back.
I was sick of the weight loss / weight gain roller coaster.
So here I was frustrated and feeling fat AGAIN and not willing to go back to the typical diets I had done before.
I decided to try something that was radical for me.
I really wanted quick natural weight loss.
So I chose to try an all natural detox diet to cleanse my system and see if I could get the weight off.
I figured I had tried everything else why not give a detox diet cleanse a try.
I started with an all natural 14 day raw fruit and vegetable diet cleanse and lost 13 pounds in 14 days! I then transitioned to a more moderate detox diet and lost another 10 pounds effortlessly over the next 30 days.
So I lost a total of 23 pounds in 44 days! I was pretty amazed that during the 44 days that I never was hungry and I was eating a large volume of delicious food every day.
The cool thing about this particular cleansing detox diet is that you can eat a lot of wholesome nutritious food but because the food is low calorie you lose weight fast and you never have to feel deprived or hungry.
And if you have a sweet tooth (like me) there are so many delicious treats that satisfy that longing for sweets.
And for those of you that are concerned that you will just gain all the weight back after a detox diet, my experience has been that the weight has stayed off.
Now mind you, I did not go back to my old junk food habits.
I rarely even feel tempted.
I have continued to incorporate many of the detox diet principles into my daily diet because I feel so much healthier and I never feel deprived.
