New Hampshire offers New England's largest and most diverse array of ski mountains. From epic black diamond descent to freestyle snowboard parks and deep backwoods powder, New Hampshire offers trails for skiers and riders of all ages and abilities. Many New Hampshire ski mountains have resorts that offer luxurious comforts to skiers when their day on the mountain is done. - Central New Hampshire's Gunstock Mountain is home to 51 trails across 220 acres. The mountain offers trails for alpine and Nordic skiing as well as a snow tubing area and snowshoeing trails. The mountain's eight lifts include two three-person lifts and a handle tow. Snowboarding is allowed on all trails. Gunstock's Blundersmoke Park snowboarding terrain park includes rails, boxes and jumps. The Thrill Hill tubing park is New Hampshire's longest tubing run, with four chutes descending 825 feet.

Loon Mountain Park is home to five snowboarding terrain parks, featuring a 32-foot-high wall ride. The mountain was ranked as one of the top 10 snowboarding destinations in North America by Snowboard Magazine in 2009. Loon's South Peak offers over 65 acres of Nordic skiing trails, as well as ski rentals, lessons and pro-shop. The mountain is also home to an expansive outdoor ice skating rink and indoor climbing wall.

The mountain is home to over 200 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain across 43 trails and glades. The mountain hosts introductory ski instruction courses for children as young as 3 years old, and the Cranmore Ski and Snowboard school offers private and group lessons for skiers and riders aged 13 and up. Seven restaurants are located on the resort grounds, which also feature the "Arctic Blast" tubing park, a family fitness center as well as indoor tennis courts, swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
