- 1). Fill up your sink with hot water and some gentle dish soap, and place the garden sprayer nozzle in the water. Leave it to soak for two to three hours, and then rinse and test. If it's still clogged, go on to the next step.
- 2). Fill up a small cup with warm distilled vinegar and soak the tip of the garden sprayer in the vinegar. Vinegar naturally dissolves buildup, leaving the garden sprayer completely mineral- and rust-free.
- 3). Unscrew the adjustable nozzle top and force some hot water through the access hole with a syringe. This will backwash any residual mineral buildup.
